Before Your First Session

  • Schedule: Book your first appointment online or by calling 706-608-8840
  • Paperwork: Complete intake forms (sent via email after scheduling)
  • Insurance: Have your insurance card ready — we’ll verify benefits before your visit

During Your First Session

Your initial session is an opportunity to get to know your therapist and share what brings you to counseling. There’s no pressure to dive deep right away — we move at your pace.

  • Sessions are typically 50 minutes
  • Your therapist will ask about your history, goals, and current concerns
  • Together, you’ll develop a plan for your care

After Your First Session

Your therapist will recommend a frequency for sessions (usually weekly or biweekly) and work with you to find a schedule that fits your life.
