Are you feeling anxious and stressed? Are you having trouble engaging in meaningful activities due to anxious distress? Perhaps you feel caught in anxious cycles that get in the way of living the life you want to? Maybe you find that your relationships are greatly impacted by the distress you feel in your daily life? Possibly your distress has you feeling lost and confused with where you are at in life? My hope is to provide a safe space for you to explore this distress and the ongoing impacts on your life. I believe that you are the expert in your life and I hope to help you find ways to relieve your distress and live a more values driven life.

My Experience

I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist that has been working with anxiety, life transitions, and difficult relationships for most of my career. Most of my training occurred in college counseling centers helping students achieve their academic goals and navigate the many stressors that might impede that success. I also participated in specialized training for Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) therapy to address OCD and anxiety related disorders. Through these training experiences, my passions of supporting young adults navigate the anxious distress they might experience and overcoming those challenges led me to where I am now. My overall goal is to increase access to ERP and help individuals do what they fear.

My Education

I believe being a therapist requires continuing education and ongoing personal development. This journey started for me while receiving my Doctor of Clinical Psychology and has continued following graduation. As such, I remain passionate about seeking out additional training opportunities related to the following areas: working with college age students, OCD, anxiety, phobias, and Exposure and Response Prevention therapy.

What to Expect from Me

I predominantly work with individuals 18 and older and I specialize in helping individuals cope with anxiety, navigate life transitions, and improve their relationships. My therapeutic approach is grounded in Person-Centered therapy that emphasizes your personal context while integrating tools and skills to help you reach your goals. I have extensive training in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) therapy that helps individuals approach their fears rather than continuing to avoid them. I believe in creating a supportive, non-judgmental space where we can work together toward your personal growth and emotional well-being. Together we will collaborate on what you are hoping to work on and how we can get there. I am available for individual counseling, supervision, group counseling, and training related to ERP. Please contact our intake coordinator via the Contact page to schedule an appointment with me or to discuss training opportunities.
