Sometimes life can be overwhelming, especially when you have been diagnosed with a developmental disability such as Attention Deficit Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, etc. Perhaps you know you have the intelligence and skills to get through college, but the simple act of starting an assignment is so overwhelming that the pressure itself makes it feel impossible to begin. Or you have a deep desire to form relationships, but you don’t know where to start and always end up feeling like you’ve failed when you try. Maybe you have a job that doesn't suit you, or are unemployed and can’t seem to get past the interview process. Having a coach can help you put your goals into action. That is where I come in. Through one-on-one support sessions, coaching helps clients perform executive functioning (organizational/planning) tasks, access social opportunities, acquire skills necessary for employment or college, and more. Together, we will create well defined goals to achieve specific, measurable outcomes.

I love working with both individuals affected by, and family member’s and partners of people with a wide variety of developmental disabilities who may be feeling overwhelmed, frustrated, or unsure how to help. I bring to the table over 21 years experience in the field of special education. I have collaborated with parents, students, and teachers to create consistent goals and troubleshoot issues across settings.
