How long does the assessment/evaluation process take?

The length of the assessment process can vary depending on the type of evaluation, the complexity of the referral questions, and individual needs. Generally, the assessment process includes several key steps: an initial clinical interview, one or more testing sessions, scoring and interpretation of results, and a feedback session.

For most standard evaluations, the process typically spans two to four weeks from the initial appointment to the delivery of the final report. Testing sessions themselves may last from one to several hours and may be scheduled over one or more days, depending on the age of the individual and the scope of assessment required.

More comprehensive or specialized evaluations, such as neuropsychological or autism assessments, may require additional time for gathering collateral information, reviewing records, or administering multiple assessment instruments. If you have specific timing needs or deadlines, please inform our team during the initial consultation so we can discuss options and set expectations accordingly. Our priority is to ensure a thorough and accurate assessment while being responsive to your scheduling needs.
