Life can be filled with hard times and confusion. Some days may feel never ending and you feel stuck in an ever-turning carousel of fear. Do you long to break through the chains that hold you down? Do you seek a better life? My goal as a clinician in training is to provide a nonjudgmental space where together we can collaboratively explore and work through your thoughts and emotions. You are not alone in this journey! I believe everyone deserves happiness and I would be honored to be a part of your healing.

My Experience:

I have been on the other side of the couch as the client, desperately wanting to turn my life around. It is hard work but it is possible. Through my own personal experiences in the therapy room, from volunteer work, and my graduate assistantship helping students in their recovery from eating disorders and alcohol and other drugs, I witnessed the lost find hope and meaning. I hope to further my understanding and skills as a mental health counselor and eventually accomplish my dream of becoming an Licensed Professional Counselor. I work out of a purpose driven framework that highlights the past to understand the present. I believe the client holds the key to their own change, and through mindfulness and cognitive transformation, anything is possible.

My Education:

I graduated from the University of North Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. I am currently at the University of Georgia in the Community Counseling Master’s Program, anticipated to graduate in May of 2019.

What to Expect from Me:

I am available for individual sessions, which are typically an hour long. If you would like to find out more information or would like to schedule an appointment, feel free to call our main office at (706) 850-7041. I am looking forward to working with you!
