Do you feel like you are in over your head, or that you can’t seem to keep up with life’s fast pace? Do you feel like you don’t know where you are trying to go and your purpose is obscured? Are you feeling anxious, depressed, and like you want to give up? If so, I’m here to help you figure it out. My goal is to get you to a position of clarity and resolve so that you can handle the curveballs life throws your way. In discovering your self-awareness and the empowerment that I hope to help you find in therapy, we can push through even the hardest facets of life together.
There’s always been something magnetizing to me about people. We are all so incredibly unique, yet encounter so many similar hardships—and this is what makes us human. In discovering my passion for psychology in my undergraduate career, I determined that I could make a lasting impact in the lives of others by becoming a therapist. Just as I believe everyone is searching for their own purpose, I have found mine—in therapy. I’m particularly interested in helping those who struggle with alcohol and substance abuse, relationship issues and transitional adjustments of life.
I am a first-year Community Counseling Master’s student at the University of Georgia, set to graduate in 2017. I completed my Bachelor’s of Science degree in Psychology at UGA in 2015. I am PrimeSolutions ® certified, and co-facilitate a Tuesday evening group.
I am available throughout the week, Monday through Friday, for individual sessions. Sessions are typically an hour long—please call our main office at 706) 850-7041 to schedule. I look forward to working together!
