Do you feel misunderstood? Stuck in your head? Unable or afraid to express yourself? Do you feel a desire for change but unsure of how to achieve your goals? Maybe you feel like you're stuck in a relationship, a job, or a state of mind that has left you unsatisfied, anxious or depressed. Do you just need a place to speak your mind and get things off your chest? My goal as a clinician in training is to offer a safe and collaborative space in which we explore these feelings honestly and without judgement. Ultimately, I hope to be a resource for you to use on your journey towards empowerment and peace of mind.

My Experience:

As a native Athenian, I have had the privilege of meeting people from all walks and ways of life. My experience has fostered the belief that we all have a unique story to tell which in turn leads us all to our own, unique, struggles. While earning my Bachelor’s degree in Sociology at UGA, I was able to study people on a large scale. I decided, in my years away from school, that I wanted to turn my focus to the experiences of the individual. This led me to the Professional Counseling program at UGA where I hope to earn my Master's degree and eventually become a Licensed Professional Counselor.

My Education:

I am a Community Counseling Master's student at the University of Georgia, set to graduate in 2018. I completed my Bachelor's of Arts degree in Sociology at UGA in 2013.

What to Expect from Me:

I am currently available for individual sessions. Sessions are typically one hour long. Please call our main office at 706-850-7041 to schedule an appointment. I look forward to working with you!
