Erica Dell

Are you experiencing stress or anxiety in your everyday life? Are you going through a major life change or transition, difficult season or experiencing struggle in your relationships? Do you at times question if your life has purpose and meaning, or you do you feel as if you are just “surviving” day to day? If you resonate with any feelings associated with questions like these you are not alone.

My passion is to provide a safe space for adolescents and adults to explore how their relationships and experiences impact who they are, and how they can grow and live life with balance, purpose and meaning. I believe that emotional healing and growth most effectively takes place in the context of relationships. Thus, my aim is to provide a therapeutic relationship that is collaborative and personal to each client’s needs and goals. I believe it is important to consider all aspects of a client’s life including physical, emotional, mental and spiritual well-being. I am committed to the therapeutic process for my clients and seek to work with them in becoming who they want to be.

My Experience:

I have a variety of experience working with individuals who are struggling with stress, anxiety, depression, family of origin issues, grief and loss, conflict resolution, identity and relationship concerns as well as trauma. I have worked with clients in various settings including private practice, behavioral health hospitals and local support groups. In addition to my professional experience I have also benefited greatly from therapy throughout my life. My personal story of healing and recovery has fostered a love for, and unique understanding of my clients.

My Education:

Originally from Athens, I earned my Bachelors degree from the University of Georgia in 2010. My undergraduate studies were in Child and Family Development, which provided a strong basis for further education in counseling and psychotherapy. Following college I received my Masters Degree in Professional Counseling. I believe in the utilization of evidence-based practices along with my personal and professional experiences as I seek to further my education and specializations to meet the needs of each client.
