Hi There,
I am so glad you are here. You are welcome in this space, just as you are. Maybe you arrived here eagerly searching for a soft place to land because life has been challenging. Maybe your journey here has been a grueling effort to acknowledge that, yes, in fact, you do need help to navigate that relationship, that decision, or that wound from the past. Regardless of how you got here - let’s celebrate this step!

My hope is to come alongside you to help you discover and develop the innate wisdom you hold to walk through life’s challenges. Most often, my work with clients involves processing past experiences that are painful or confusing, connecting past experiences to present emotional and relational challenges, guiding you to a better understanding of yourself, and developing a vision for the future. I often assist others with restoring one’s ability to truly experience their emotions, managing symptoms of depression and/or anxiety, and processing grief and loss. I enjoy helping clients navigate the intersection of physical health and emotional wellness - particularly in the areas of chronic illness, maternal mental health, and women’s mental health beyond childbearing years.

My Experience

Over the last 15 years, I have been fortunate to practice in a variety of settings, including community integrated health centers, Primary Care settings, and Global Virtual Integrated Healthcare platforms. The majority of my career has focused on the integration of behavioral health in healthcare settings, with a foundational understanding that as humans, we are not siloed beings, so our path to true health and wellness must include our physical, emotional, and spiritual selves.

Because of my immersion in healthcare settings, I have a collaborative approach to your care, and will happily work together with your primary care physician and/or psychiatrist to
ensure your shared goals support and enhance one another.

My Education

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and hold licenses to practice in Georgia, Ohio, Indiana, South Carolina and Massachusetts. I received my Master’s Degree in Social Work in 2009 from the University of Georgia, and my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from North Georgia College and State University in 2004.

I have advanced training in Maternal Mental Health from Postpartum Support International, and Integrated Behavioral Health and Psychopharmacology from the University of Washington AIMS Center.

What to Expect From Me

I strive to create a therapeutic environment of safety, support and mutual respect. I value sharing evidence-based approaches and resources that will equip you with the knowledge to understand not only what you are experiencing, but why, and how to develop and utilize tools that will serve you well beyond your time in therapy. My approach to therapy is holistic, relational and person-centered.

I am currently seeing adults ages 18+ for individual sessions both in-person and virtually.
