Have you been feeling lost on your path toward the life you want? It’s normal to feel stuck & overwhelmed. Still, you may have noticed that your coping strategies aren’t working as well as they used to, that there is suffering in your relationships, or that you’re dissatisfied with your current day-to-day. If so, you don’t have to find your way alone. I’d like to help you reconnect to your sense of well-being, creativity, and personal power.

About Me

Life is complicated, and usually, there is not a single cause for the difficulties we experience. Instead, a combination of internal and external factors overlap, creating unworkable thoughts, feelings, and situations. The words we use shape our experiences, and the story we tell ourselves can become outdated, keeping us stuck. Shifting that narrative requires us to be present, “unhook” from negative experiences, and take actions towards what matters to us. We would work as a team to co-create solutions for the problems you face. I want you to leave each session with something practical that you can actively use in your daily life to make it better.

My experience lends itself well to working with people of all ages. I am particularly interested in supporting artists/musicians, service workers, and individuals who identify as LGBTQ+. I focus on supporting clients with a range of experiences, including depression, substance misuse, and life transitions. I have a specific interest in supporting creatives feeling disconnected from their form of expression. I utilize EMDR in my practice and am currently in consultation for certification.

Healing looks different for everyone, and I would be honored to help you find your way.

I believe that you contain all of the wisdom necessary to create the life you want. I am here to guide, support, and, most importantly, to listen.

You are not alone.

My Education & Experience

I graduated from Georgia State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a concentration in community psychology. I am currently working on a Masters of Social Work at the University of Georgia with an anticipated graduation date of May 2021.

My experiences dealing with anxiety and depression led me to pursue a career in counseling. On the road as a touring musician for nearly a decade, I found that writing, music, art, and movement/performance are powerful tools for healing. Together we can discover what holds you back and create your plan to move forward.

What to Expect from Me

I strive to hold a space where you feel brave enough to own your truth without hiding, and I believe that honesty is the most important part of our relationship. My goal for our sessions is to give you tools to build the life you want. I am available Wednesday-Friday for 50 minute sessions.
